The Netflix subscription service offers both licensed and original exclusives to stream. While these exclusives are often ways to entice viewers to keep the service, it seems as though the new “Number 1” Netflix movie is being dubbed “garbage” and “inappropriate” by viewers.
At the time of this writing, the aforementioned film has reached the number one spot on Netflix. Viewers are clearly eager to stream the new movie which was added to the service on February 5, 2025. And, while it might be one of the latest exclusives to hit the platform, that doesn’t mean it’s going to be loved by everyone.
In fact, the below Reddit post in which the film is called “inappropriate” asks for other viewers to chime in. With several hundred replies, they certainly have, many of which all agree that the film – which stars Amy Schumer – should not be ranking so highly on Netflix’s platform.
Here’s the initial Reddit post about the film – titled Kinda Pregnant – which stars Amy Schumer as a teacher who fakes being pregnant to blend in with her pregnant colleagues:
“Anyone else think Amy Schumer saying sexually explicit dialogue to minors in high school in the classroom scene pretty wrong….? I’m only about 15 minutes in and had to post on Reddit about it find someone who felt the same. Am I crazy 😭
“Just seems a little inappropriate and a desperate attempt to be funny….
“And I just now saw a scene where she criticizes another character for being a teacher and being inappropriate 🤷♀️”
