Australia to open semi-final 2

The running order of the two semi-finals of Eurovision 2025 have been released. They were first announced via videos on the official Eurovision YouTube channel.

Here are the running orders:

2. Poland

3. Slovenia

4. Estonia

5. Ukraine

6. Sweden

7. Portugal

8. Norway

9. Belgium

10. Azerbaijan

11. San Marino

12. Albania

13. Netherlands

14. Croatia

1. Australia

2. Montenegro

3. Ireland

4. Latvia

5. Armenia

6. Austria

   – United Kingdom-

7. Greece

8. Lithuania

9. Malta

10. Georgia

11. Denmark

12. Czechia

13. Luxembourg

14. Israel

    -Germany-

15. Serbia

16. Finland

The Big 5 and Switzerland will perform in the semi-final they are voting in, with the point they are performing noted in the running order.

There are some interesting trends from the running order release:

• Australia performs at the number 1 slot in semi-final 2, the first time we have opened a Eurovision show

• current bookies favourites Sweden and Austria both perform at number 6 in their respective semi-finals

• for the second year in a row Austria performs at number 6 in the second semi-final

• for the second year in a row Malta performs in the earliest slot it could in its half of the semi-final

• Finland also closed its semi-final as recently as 2023.
