Elon Musk still wants the fight against Mark Zuckerberg, as he proposed the idea of them fighting each other anywhere, anytime, and under any rule. His statements were made during a surprise visit to the U.S. Capitol, where Musk attended Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s speech and was asked about this possible confrontation that had been talked about months ago but had been forgotten since the duel never became a reality. But one thing that came out of it was Gordon Ryan‘s true feelings about Mark Zuckerberg.
Back when the fight between the two billionaires was still a thing, the Facebook founder reached out to ADCC champion Gordon Ryan to help him prepare for his upcoming bout. While the BJJ GOAT believed that upon first impression, the META CEO seemed like “a total as****e,” Zuckerberg’s recent JRE appearance has changed his mind. The 40-year-old appeared as a guest on JRE #2255, and this appearance has changed the way the BJJ legend feels about the CEO.
Taking to his Instagram, Gordon Ryan shared that after seeing the Meta CEO on the podcast and listening to him share his thoughts, he has a new perception of him now. According to the 29-year-old, just the idea of Zuckerberg being a billionaire makes people believe that he should be bringing positive changes to the world and keep on using his money for social welfare. However, it is not a position that Mark Zuckerberg ever wanted to be in.

While he does believe he and Elon Musk should use their money to benefit others rather than just keep themselves busy with their businesses, the 40-year-old also wants to relax and enjoy his time and resources as a businessman as well without constant scrutiny. Taking to his Instagram, Ryan wrote, “What I see is a guy who is trying to change to world who is having far more responsibilities forced on him than he asked for, and he is simply trying his best through trial and error and not afraid to own his screw ups along the way.”
He further added that fans should be more accepting of the tech billionaire and stop trying to make him sound like a villain for everything he does. Gordon Ryan said, “Everyone here knows I call things like I see them, regardless of if it’s good for my brand or my wallet. I’m not so sure Mark is the bad guy I and many others made him out to be. I think we should give him a chance and stop demonizing him.” Well, it looks like the Joe Rogan Experience has actually changed the BJJ king’s opinions of Zuckerberg. But do you know that this isn’t the first time he has praised the billionaire?

Gordon Ryan defends Mark Zuckerberg’s BJJ skills
Gordon Ryan’s earlier impression of Zuckerberg was not a positive one. However, he still praised the 40-year-old’s jiujitsu abilities earlier last year. The BJJ star is never shy about sharing his thoughts on social media. So, taking to his Instagram, he was all praise for Mark Zuckerberg and appeared to be impressed by the tech billionaire’s victory in the 2023 BJJ tournament.
Blasting those who do not train and find reasons not to exercise, using Zuckerberg as an example, Gordon Ryan demonstrated that if a busy CEO can do it, so can everyone. Ryan shared with his fans, “Mark Zuck trains jiu-jitsu and competes. I never want to hear ‘I don’t have time’ again, you lazy f***s.” The 29-year-old further motivated his fans to begin their training.
