Tonight’s show will emanate live from Memphis
As the 2025 Elimination Chamber approaches, the Stamford-based promotion is ready to deliver the first show after the Royal Rumble PLE. Tonight’s show of Friday Night SmackDown will emanate live from the FedEx Forum in Memphis, Tennesse.
The show will serve as the fallout show from the first PLE of 2025 and will kick off the storylines and qualifying matches for the upcoming Elimination Chamber PLE. The men’s and women’s Royal Rumble match winners are also set for an appearance on the show.
Ahead of this week’s show in Memphis, Tennessee, let us take a look at four predictions for the fallout episode of Friday Night SmackDown.
4. Jade Cargill returns
Jade Cargill has been absent from WWE programming since she was attacked backstage in November 2024 and was left unconscious. Since then, her Tag team partner Bianca Belair has replaced her with Naomi as the two-star now hold and defend the Women’s Tag Team titles, which was earlier held by Cargill and Belair.
While the promotion has not yet been revealed who attacked Cargill, multiple fan theories are circulating on social media one of which suggests that either Naomi or Belair was behind the attack. Nevertheless, Cargill will likely not be pleased with Belair replacing her and she will likely make her return tonight to confront the tag champs.

3. LA Knight targets Shinsuke Nakamura
Former US Champion LA Knight‘s title run was cut short when he faced a returning star, Shinsuke Nakamura. Since then, Knight, for some reason, or another, has been unable to defeat Nakamura.
However, after a failed attempt in the men’s Royal Rumble match, Knight will likely shift his focus back to regaining the United States title. Knight will likely target the current champion to gain his attention and a match against Nakamura for the upcoming PLE.

2. Kevin Owens doubles down
On this week’s episode of Monday Night Raw, Kevin Owens did what many thought he would do and turned on another one of his long-time friends Sami Zayn. Owens attacked Zayn after the main event where Zayn suffered a defeat against CM Punk.
Owens will likely make an appearance on tonight’s show to explain and berate Zayn for not helping him during the ladder match at Royal Rumble and will likely double down on his actions instead of apologizing.
1. Street Profits demands their title shot
Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins (Street Profits) made their surprise return during the WWE Tag Team title match between the champions DIY (Tomasso Ciampa & Johnny Gargano) and Motor City Machine Guns (Alex Shelley & Chris Sabin).
Street Profits attacked Motor City Machine Guns who were about to execute their finish move, this interference cost them the title match. However, Ford and Dawkins also attacked the tag champions after the match making their intentions clear. Ford and Dawkins will likely demand the title shot on tonight’s episode.
