HEAD COACH THEO EDWARDS SAID
“Nice match for the guys tonight and a good start to the season. We had a few guys make their Matador debuts, Joao (Favarim) had a nice match, hit .600 and Joao Pedro (Avila) hit only .200 but did some great things as a passer and was consistent from the service line. Stilian was dominant tonight, hit .889 and I thought he had a terrific match. Donovan was fantastic, led the way with 31 assists and was terrific from the service line.”
